Please read and accept these Usage Rules carefully before using Gyre as an Employee User or as a Feedback User

Gyre (‘the Platform’) is a digital leadership learning and development tool licensed and operated by The Developing Leaders Partnership Limited® (‘DLP’) for employers and coaches to facilitate coaching, training and development of personnel and staff.


DLP has entered into a contract with your employer/coach or, if you are being asked to provide feedback on a staff member/individual, with the employer/coach of that staff member/individual – in either case, referred to here as “the Employer/Coach”.


You will be using the Platform subject to that contract between DLP and the Employer/Coach, but to access and use the Platform you will need to register and/or login and accept these Usage Rules. Your agreement to the Usage Rules is for the benefit of the Employer/Coach and DLP.


You may be accessing the platform as a staff member/individual being reviewed, or you may be accessing the platform on the invite of the Employer/Coach or staff member/individual to give feedback to the staff member/individual. In either situation, the users will be referred to as You / Your etc.


DLP may make changes to these Usage Rules at any time by updating this link. You should, therefore, review the Usage Rules regularly. Registration of Your details with DLP and use of the Platform by You indicate Your acceptance of these Usage Rules.


Access and Passwords

You shall:

  • only use the Platform as permitted by the Employer/Coach in relation to the personal leadership and development functionality and objectives;

  • not provide access to the Platform to any third parties save as permitted herein, and will take all reasonable steps to prevent any unauthorised access to, or use of, the Platform, including keeping secure and confidential the password and account details for use of the Platform;

  • notify the Employer/Coach immediately of any unauthorised access or use or if you believe that there has been any breach of security such as the disclosure, theft or unauthorised use of any username or password.


You shall not:

  • attempt to download, modify, create derivative works from, frame, mirror, republish or distribute any portion of the Platform except as may be allowed by any applicable law; or

  • attempt to copy, adapt, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise reduce to human-perceivable form all or any part of the Platform, except as may be allowed by any applicable law; or

  • access the Platform in order to build a product or service which competes with the Platform;

  • resell, sublicense or otherwise use the Platform to provide services to third parties;

  • access, store, distribute or transmit any Viruses into or via the Platform.


Content you submit

You warrant and promise that any content, information, data or opinions (the “Content”) that you enter or submit via the Platform:

  • will not infringe the statutory, common law, or Intellectual Property Rights or any other right, title or interest, of any third party, nor any right of privacy or confidentiality;

  • will not be unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, infringing, discriminatory, hateful, abusive, harassing or racially or ethnically offensive, facilitate illegal activity, promote unlawful violence, or be in breach of any confidentiality;

  • will be honest and truthful.


Content usage

You acknowledge and agree that we may use any Content you enter or submit to the Platform in order to:

  • Provide Solo and Viewpoint reports to the Employer

  • Provide Solo and Viewpoint reports to the relevant approved and nominated Coach

  • Provide the Employer/Coach with aggregate, team and organisation reports


Data usage

You acknowledge that we may use any personal data you enter or submit to the Platform during registration and /or login, and otherwise during use of the Platform in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


We will at all times comply with our Privacy Policy and relevant Data Protection Laws.



You acknowledge that DLP is not providing you with a service and that access to and use of the Platform is provided to you by the Employer/Coach.


Nothing in this Agreement shall in any way exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for any other liability which may not be excluded by law, nor for breach of relevant Data Protection Laws.


Subject to clause 5.2 (the bullet point above) we shall not be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any losses or damage (whether or not such losses or damage were direct, foreseen, foreseeable, known or otherwise) howsoever arising in respect of your use of or access to the Platform.
